For the past day I've been wondering if Amir Khan could knock Paulie out and I have no idea on whether to bet on a Knockout or Points victory.

I've been doing my research on Paulie who has a record of 27(5)-3(1)-0 which is not bad. He's been in with big punchers such as Cotto who has a high KO percentage and Ricky Hatton who is also known to be a strong puncher.

We all know that Khan doesn't not have the power of both Cotto and Hatton, but I've wondered, has Paulie faced anyone as fast as Khan? I could say the same about Khan but sparring with Pacquiao would surely keep him to deal with the speed.

I also notice that Paulie keeps his left hand very low and doesn't have a very good defence. And IMO, I think any fighter who faces a person with power and speed is hell for a person with low hands and weak defence.

But we also know that Paulie has a very good chin and can take good shots, so I'm honestly baffled on what to pick. My early opinion is that Khan will put a lot behind his 1, 2 combo and pressure him. I personally don't think Paulie will withstand it.

But I'd love to hear your opinions on it. Hopefully you can tell me what's a good odd :p

Not a ****ing chance, Khan isnt even that powerful, he ko'd china chinned Salita who has been getting knocked down by binmen and firemen for a few years now.

There is about 0% chance Khan ko's Paulie :good.

I don't think either are capable of knocking the other out.

I don't think so. Paulie's slick and Paulie can take a shot. And Amir will be cautious i think, afraid to get hit due to his china chin. Paulie has skills and pretty good accuracy.

And whatever to say about his power, he stunned Diaz.

I go with Khan by decision but won't be very surprised if the opposite will happen.

khan is much harder to hit now so i doubt he gets kod by an unskilled puncher

Paulie is tough as hell and slick as anything; he survived 12 with Cotto, and took 11 rounds of Hattons best and was still adamant he wanted to continue even when the fight was stopped.

Khan loses steam and reverts back to arm punches half-way through a fight, so past that point the chance of getting Paulie out of there will drop off more.

Given how Paulie rocked Diaz i'd say there's more chance he stops Khan than Khan stops him, haha.

personally i doubt khan hits anywhere near as hard as cotto, but pauli has had a lot of tough fights now which causes wear and tear to a fighters chin over time. If khan actually stops pauli I wouldn't be surprised one bit.

Pauli has very good chin and OK defense he is not getting KOed. He was not getting KOed in his fight with Hatton if it wasn't for his corner

khan has only fought the slow kotelnik and the useless salita so far since with freddie , when he fights a decent name fighter with pop itsa going to be good night irene

to be an elete fighter you need to have it all especially a good chin and khan has one of the worst i have ever seen

Stops him ... maybe... very unlikely though.

    He certainly wont KO him.

And if Paulies last performance is anything to go by, he's kinda at his peak ..

I really don't think khan does enough damage to get someone like Paulie in enough trouble to be pulled out.
