If anything he was losing fans prior to the Prescott debacle.

Us brits love a good loser, if he loses, he'l be much more popular, for a start he'll be fighting more regularly in england for a start.

Just going by what I saw on this board. Prescott led to the "A Mere Con" period. :D

Bradley's the best 140 fighter right now, 2 fights or end of the year Khan's going to do a beatdown on his 5'6 small ass.

Fact is they ducked Madiana for Marquez a light hitter and smaller opponent and now he goes they picked the weakest puncher ever at 140 close to championship level disgusting they can blatantly AVOID punchers who are MANDATORY and call they self a world champion

    disgusting

TB spanks Khan now, later this year, next year, etc. :deal

Khan's a good fighter though, not trying to disrespect.

Wow, you are such a blind khan nuthugger its a joke!!

Since when does constructive criticism, pointing out a fighters faults, not falling for the hype, and trying to be as unbias as possible when judging a fight = hating???

Ive said that he is talented, and i said i was a fan

Being a fan dosent equate into hanging off of khans nuts and praising every move he makes. Thats called being a **** sucker

The fact that khan calls himself a world champion, and calls out marquez instead of urango, bradley, or alexander is baffeling to me

But thats not the point, i like to watch khan fight, he is entertaining. He did hit somone with a car, so that sort of calls his character into question. He is pretty cocky, which i normally dont like, but he seems like a decent guy.

What more do you want of me to qualify as a fan, blindly defend every move he makes??? Say he has power, when i have never seen him knock somone out??

Im sorry, i cant make **** up or just defend somone blindly like that..

    I find it weird :huh

Marquez is a light hitter? did u see what he did to Diaz, he nearly decapitated him, and he cleaned Casamayor's clock! Have you even ever seen him fight, apart from against Mayweather? who i should state is probably the most difficult fighter to hit, this side of an early 90's Sweet Pea.

I think a lot of British (including me) wanted to see Khan beaten, because he was becoming way too big headed, and had been steered away from the British and European titles, which are generally a staple for young British fighters.

It is also an opportunity for other, lesser known British fighters to get a decent payday against a young kid on the way up.

Since the loss, his attitude towards the sport has changed greatly, and I now consider myself a fan, because of his willingness to move to America to further his career (unlike people such as Calzaghe) and make a name for himself.

Too many of our fighters stay at home and rack up loads of WBO title defences, which is why I get pissed off when Americans slag off Lewis, Hatton, Hamed etc, when they ought to get on the case of the likes of Enzo Maccarinelli who stay at home all the time.
