He's great for boxing, he's really pushing along ahead with the PR and getting into places the others cant get to, Pac, shane, oscar, cotto and the others should be thankful for this guy, he's getting boxing talked about

NBA Allstar weekend, Superbowl, WWE, Dancing With the Stars. This is the hardest working man in boxing.

And the funny thing is is that people hate on him for the way he acts and is carrying himself but seem to fail to realize that this is just like wrestling.... he is portraying an imagine to get a bunch of people to like him and hate him so now he has doubled business...

This dude is truly marketing himself and he has everyone one talking about him. Enthusiast and casual fans and people who dont know anything about business. yet people dog him for this...I guess people with a business mindset can appreciate it...

Please remove Oscar from that list. Oscar is on another level when promoting his fight and mass appeal.

not surprising, this is how it works. The superfight became official a week ago. Heavy promotion for a short period, then hardcore training.

Why wasn't Mosley or Pac promoting their fights in any mainstream sports event then?

Yea it is crazy how he gets about I really cannot believe he is getting all of these interviews......

If it continues then I can imagine the PPV numbers for this fight will be well over 1.5 million

****, if the marquez fight did 1 million, this may very well break the record PBF and Delahoya set (2.2 MILLION)

First of all, Pac-Clottey got signed late and didn't leave time for the early promotion. Had to get straight into the gym. Pac lives overseas, ya know? And when he got to the States it was straight to training. But, Pacquiao's mug is all over the Albertson's grocery chain in Dallas lol...

And Mosley's not the one that's going to sell Mayweather-Mosley, come on man...But he was down in Miami, he's been around.

He was when he was fighting, but as a promoter he desperately needs active boxers out there in the public eye drumming up attention for fights. Floyd is doing his part to re-invigorate boxing in the eyes of the mainstream public, which Oscar stands to benefit from substantially.

Exactly. Great point(s). The analogy with wrestling was spot on. People fail to realize Floyd isn't really as he portrays himself and is actually a nice guy. He tried to show a little bit of that on the last 24/7 - and Shane even recently in an interview said Mayweather isn't like how he acts until the cameras are on or a lot of people are around. He just does these kind of things to get people riled up, then take it to the bank when the buy his fights to either see him win or lose. He don't care either way long as he cashing them checks.

    They'll never learn.

Very true, Oscar was great at promoting as well. But can't be denied Floyd can promote himself better than just about anyone else in boxing currently. Oscar retired, and now doing what he does good. Promoting and raking in cash for GBP.

I'm telling you, there really seems to be alot of hype for this fight....Yea Shane is a great fighter and one of my favourites but where is all this coverage coming from?

I dont want to start a flame war but ever since this has been official all I hear in the gym and on forums is Shane vs May. I hardly hear anything about the Pacquiao fight its weird!
