    Good thread..

My conditions for this autobiography would be no holds bar everything that happened, explain it in the book kind of thing. Things like what they had to endure behind the scenes of boxing, the upbringing that got them to where they are, and how they handled dealing with it all and how it transformed them for better or worse through a proper personality psychology that was true and gave it all. My list includes:

Mike Tyson. I know he has his documentary out. I haven't watched it yet, but I wouldn't mind reading a book about his autobiography from his own words, not questions that lead him to say certain things.

    Roy Jones Jr.

    Shane Mosley.

    Manny Pacquiao.

And last but not least... Floyd Mayweather Jr.

I pick these people because besides Pac, all the rest are my all time personal favorites.

I'd also like to read Hasim Rahman's and Lamon Brewsters. I bet their books would be pretty good. I don't know about a Toney book - as much as I admire him as a fighter would I really want to read 90 pages of him yelling me just how great he is.

Just for the record, i read one on harry haft, and it was pretty damn good. Went from concentration camps of WW2 to challenging rocky for the title..... interesting read.

Aussie former world kickboxing champion and champion boxer Paul Briggs has a fantastic autobigraphy.

15th June: "I won an endorsement deal... 'Open Your Eyes to Tiger Balm - Soothing Relief for Aching Knuckles'"

It would be hard to gauge his truthfulness, unfortunately, what with the varying accounts of his birth and early childhood. Not as many versions as Bob Dylan, but there are just enough to confuse things (for me, at least).

I can't remember the "Phantom Punch" biopic, so I assume it wasn't very good.

James Toney. There is some brilliance to him.

I don't know how many of you saw this but this is a short 10 minute piece done by HBO Sports before Hopkin's fight with De La Hoya. Check it out.
