The best fighters under 30 are in the S.F. bay area!

Take any metropolitan area in the world today, and not one has better fighters under the age of thirty than the San Francisco bay area. Three names sum this up quickly.

Andre Ward: Age 25, 21-0 record, WBA Super Middleweight champion.

Nonito Donaire: Age 27, 23-1 record, WBA Super Flyweight champion.

Robert Guerrero: Age 26, 25-1 record, IBF Super Featherweight champion.

Ward won gold in 2004 and Donaire is ranked pound for pound 6th in the world by Ring Magazine.

The only metropolitan area that comes close is also in California, Los Angeles. These are guys under 30, which means California is going to have the world's top fighters for a pretty good while.

I looked over the Philadelphia fighters before I made my claim. That's step number one in covering your ass when saying something like that. While those guys aren't quite as accomplished as the three I mentioned, that overall combined record of 51-0 (36 KO's) I am now noticing is nothing to scoff at. It'd be interesting to see if someone's got an area to match those three prospects. Your reply is the exact kind I was looking for. Thanks.

 

Why are people trying to turn this into a discussion about homosexuality? Why are you? Is it because there are not three fighters in all of England (a whole ****ing country) who are anywhere near as good as the top three fighters from the bay area (a few counties) alone?
