Great news...this is the best fight out there at 130.

Good. I think it's too late for JMM. Pacman by UD.

Marquez is still an elite fighter and still has a few years left, but he has lost the bounce in his step that he once had, he is more flatfooted, and his reflexes have slowed a bit. I like Pacquiao by unanimous decision or possibly a late TKO.

    I hate being a bit of a fanboy here, but I'd find Guzman/Pac a bit more interesting.:yep

I agree with you KG, it's too late for JMM and he's steadily slipping. I think I'll take Pac by KO providing that he comes in with a great training camp and is fully refreshed.

I'm interested, but not as interested as I was if the rematch would have been made right after the first.

I thought you were a big JMM fan. This would be the career defining fight of Marquez. I think he still has enough left in him to outbox and counter the hell out of Pacquiao for most of the rounds and his stamina won't be a big problem.

I really hope this gets made. I would be way more excited for it than Pac-Diaz/Soto/Guzman/Valero, even though those are really exciting too.

This is the fight I really want for Manny. I hope he'll stay at 130 and fight both Marquez and the winner of Soto/Guzman/Valero.

This will be a very entertaining fight. I don't think either of them will be intimidated or willing to back down from each other. I picture Marquez countering flatfooted, from the center of the ring, while Pacquiao moves in and out relentlessly trying to back Marquez up.

I am a long time JMM fan, but I ALWAYS pick with my head, not with my heart, I also judge fighters to a very rigorous standard.

I don't think he has enough left in the tank and I think a well conditioned Pac takes him out this time around. Pac has improved and JMM is on the slide. However, if it's the drained Pac that showed up vs. Barrera last fight, then JMM would win in my opinion.

Nothing would be more exciting than Guzman-Pac, because Guzman would own Pac severely, potentially even 'Lacy' him if he's fully focused and then we'd get to see the Pacmania fans responses.:yep

I think the combination of Marquez losing mobility and speed and Pacquiao gaining a right hand will spell the difference.

On the other hand, if Manny gets sloppy the way he did against a very passive Barrera, he could get stopped.
