The middleweight division has been awful for YEARS. Since around 1995. It's been the most enduringly crap division for a ridiculous amount of time.

I don't understand it though, the middlewei
middleweight division should be the most active and deep division based on that it is fit for the average human height/size so i would think that a lot of normal sized guys would end up in there.
Its really a waste i like middleweight fights.

If you think its bad now then what happens if Pavlik moves to 168 next year and PW stays at 154?

The MW division is **** poor man !!!!!!

    Mundine
    Macklin
    Sylvester
    Sturm
    Geale

    WTF . !!!!!!!! .............

If you throw Martinez and Williams in the mix it does give some light at the end of the tunnel , if Pavlik leaves the division forget about it , the MW glory years are over .

It will be stacked soon. You've got the likes of Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam, Gennady Golovkin, Dmitry Pirog, Matt Macklin, Fernando Guerrero, Darren Barker, Danny Jacobs, Craig McEwan and David Lemieux either emerging onto world-level or continuing to build themselves up.

Plus the likes of Alfredo Angulo and James Kirkland (when he returns) could potentially move up to 160, and other 154 prospects could move up such as Erislandy Lara, Demetrius Andrade, Omar Henry, Shawn Porter and Yudel Jhonson.

Exactly. It seems almost 50% of the top prospects at the moment are MW's or JMW's.

Oh please, at least 80% of those will fall by the wayside against established fighters on the way down.
