kesslers only notable fight has been losing to calzaghe and gets too much praise for that.
He has made a career out of staying in denmark fighting sub par opponents and it showed when he fought ward.
You are all going to be shocked when Froch KO's kessler pretty easily and handily.
Froch isn't that great a boxer but kessler is so easy to find it will be target practice for Froch.I think he will even land his trademark cobra uppercut which he normally misses by miles on most boxers.

I really have no idea how Froch is still undefeated but I wonder if we've seen the best of him already. He beat Pascal fair and square but looked ****-poor at times against Taylor and nearly lost against Dirrell who lost the fight for fimself due to a lack of work-rate. Anyway, Kessler gives me the impression of a fighter who may also have seen better days so I think this is a tough fight to call. It ought to be Kessler due to the difference in skill-sets but Froch must be doing something right - I'm just damned if I know what it is!!!

I can't see Froch taking uppercuts like that the same way Calzaghe did, i imagine he'll get dropped if those connect.

I think Kessler will have a field day landing counter punches.

Looking forward to this one. Froch might not be a great technician but the man sure doesn't know when to quit. Should be an exciting fight, rooting for Froch!

i think what he meant was that it was dirrel that made it an ugly fight, i don't think anyone could disagree with that.

A big thing for me looking at the recent pics with both fighters is that Froch is much bigger then I thought relative to Kessler. I've been watching the Ward fight and the one thing that stands out for me is that Kessler really didn't like getting hit bt Ward and he didn't respond well to the rough tactics....both didn't seem to affect him physically as much as they really made him timid. It is also true that Ward was so slick that night that Kessler wasn't able to touch him while he was getting hit and head butted. So perhaps the timidness was more of a result of these three things and prehaps if he is getting hit and roughed-up but is hitting Froch back he won't be as timided. But the other thing that occurs to me is that if he didn't like getting hit by Ward he really isn't going to like getting hit by Froch also if he doesn't like the rough stuff he'll have a nightmare fighting Froch.

Style wise Kessler has all the advantages. Froch is there to be hit and isn't slick enough to do what Calzaghe and Ward were able to do and out box Kessler. Kessler also hits harder than any fighter Froch has faced so far so don't be suprised if we see Froch hurt and dropped in this fight.

Froch for all is flaws keeps on winning. I think he will have to take a lot of punishment against Kessler if he is to turn this fight his way. But if he can force the fight a make it a physical affair I don't think Kessler will be able to adapt as he really only fights one way. So Froch is definately a dangerous under dog in my opinion.

But I pick Kessler by KO in 8 rounds, just can't see Froch being able to avoid getting hit hard and often and being ground down.

If he's able to plant that front foot and rip Froch with combinations Froch is done for. I think the most interesting aspect of this both these guys are good counter punchers. It will be interesting to see whose skills will prevail in this aspect.
