Dawson-Pascal official!

Well, this is the end of Pascal championship run, Dawson elusive style and reach will be too much for the brawler Pascal. But at least Pascal is very game and will give all he can to beat Dawson, this should be a very good fight while it last. Pascal don't bring anything new for Dawson, who got plenty of ring experience with Adamek, Tarver and Johnson. Dawson comfortable UD or late TKO.

 

Because he suffered a fracture of the shoulder blade in his last fight and needed surgery. He's still doing physiotherapy.

He & his team don't know if he'll be healthy enough to fight in June. They'll know once he starts training and sparring in April/May.

You're either overestimating Pascal or underestimating Dawson, but I don't see how you can mock someone predicting a Dawson victory. The odds will definitely be in his favour.

Ah, forgot about that. It's still impressive how he was able to bite down through it and perform the last half of that fight.

I just assumed once his name was mentioned in the mix again, that tacitly meant he was ready-to-go. :conf

Why wouldn't they wait until he finished his healing course to book his next match?

 

Pavlik can attest to the fact that your doctors may not always be right on the money with anticipating your recovery...... I haven't read any articles, but I'd have to assume this is a 'rough target' type date. Both fighters have to know it could take longer.
