Good decision in my opinion. (if, of course, it turns out to be true)

He is never going to be a "great" champion and will always be exposed by anyone half decent with a punch. He most have made a few bob so should be comfortable.

He's overachieved, so should be proud.

Its a great shame but its good to see a fighter get out early rather than too late.
Pisser that he had no punch resistance as aesthetically he was very good to watch. Classy boxer.

It's pretty surprising as I still feel he has something to offer to boxing. But it is his decision and we have to respect it :good

It's a shame we never got to see Dunne/Munroe in all seriousness. After all the rivalry in the press it would have been a great fight with a great atmosphere in Ireland.

I was astonished he won a world title. Seemed like he had one great performance in him that he'll probably never be able to muster again so you'd have to say he probably overachieved and had made the best of what he had.

I'm glad hes called it quits.

Reason i'm not to shocked is that his punch resistance isn't great and he's had to heavy losses by KO. He constantly looks ill and weight drained and super batamweight and featherweight are supremely strong divisions and maybe he's looked and thought i won a version of world title whether people accept that or not is there prerogative but end of the day maybe he's thought i can't top that so best step out before he gets hurt.
