He kinda ruined a great fight IMO. Early on Soszynski is poked by Bonnar and cleary effected by it basically turtling up on his feet but the ref is screaming KEEP FIGHTING KEEP FIGHTING. What does he do if Soszynski suffered a bad eye injury then ate more shots to cause serious damage ? Then he claims Soszynski caused that cut with a punch and clearly the guy was daydreaming instead of watching the fight. What the overhead replay theres a headbutt and Bonnar's head right away drops blood on that logo in the middle of the octagon. Ive been in rings and cages fighting or closely observing and coaching sparring matches and you see everything if you keep your eyes on your ****ing job. This guy obviously thought he had better things to do and wanted to leave ASAP.

Hopefully that fight gets looked more into and the right decision is made like in Campbell-Bradley. Bonnar doesnt deserve a loss like that when he didnt lose especially when those guys ****ing stood right in front of each and banged it out. I say no contest and then a rematch on a live Spike card.

I totally agree. I don't know how the hell these people have jobs working as refs. It's really disgusting.

Yup would have been a close one though it was hard to seperate one from the other because it was basically a fight in one pattern and thats them slugging it out virtually the entire time. For some **** who didnt wanna be there to ruin it pisses me off. Id love to be a ref but clearly this guy doesnt love his job cause he wasnt paying attention and didnt care when a man got fouled. Dan Mirgalota makes this guy look like Big John.

Exactly man listen if you dont wanna pay close attention to the fight then dont get in there and officiate. Go do something else go far away where noboddy has to deal with your pathetic ass. Bonnar now has lost 3 fights in a row and could be out of a UFC job because of this jackass not knowing what hes doing. If you listen closely he was like NO SIR NO HEADBUTT IT WAS A STRIKE or some **** like that. WTF is that *** watching ?

I find it amazing that viewers watching on television sometimes have a MUCH better understand of what's going on better than the refs do. Those dumbasses sometimes actually have no clue what's going on. Now Bonnar might lose his spot over a decision like this and that's crap. I hope Dana and the Fertitta's had a better view on this than the ref did. Because clearly that guy doesn't know what the **** he's doing.

I remember the Clementi vs Maynard fight, when they were on the ground, and the ref kept saying "come on guys lets work or I'm gonna stand you up" and Rogan was clearly fustrated with the situation. This happens in Boxing too, when Sergio Martinez clearly knocked out Cintron and the ref originally had it a knockout. Then Cintron starts bitching and crying that it was a headbunt and that ***** ass ref actually changed his decision. He went off what a fighter said rather than what his 2 eyes saw. Such a ****** of a referee. Most of those guys ****in suck:fire

I didnt watch Cintron-Martinez the night it happened I had my HBO canceled at that period of time but my freind called me and told me what happened and im like damn thats ****ed up but could not truely understand until watching it 2-3 months later. When I watched it I nearly vomitted on this very keyboard. First off you dont change your decision could you imagine in Baseball where a Manager comes out bitches at the umpire then the umpire actually says you know what pal ? your correct and changes his ruling.

Standups bother me I see red when I see guys in side control or back control get stood up or seperated. One that comes to mind is Renzo Gracie having knee on belly on Frank Shamrock and Herb Dean stands it up WTF is that ? If a guy takes you down then he should have the needed time to work his game dont like it then sweep, submitt or get back to your feet. I only agree with standups from a neutral postion being full guard or half guard and also only when its clear stalling or a obvious stalemate.

I didn't see the fight. Was the headbutt on purpose or accidental?

No way he should be given the loss, very poor reffing - Soszynski showed class acknowledging the head butt at the end - just not a good way to end considering how the fight went - one thing i like about Bonner he has good heart - this fight kind of reminded me of his fight against Griffin in TUF final - very good fight.
