    Celebtrity Hijack? Anthony Ogogo? It's 2am I am bored and I was just thinking about it. I think he missed out on the 2008 Olympics to BJS, having previously won the junior olympics and I think I remember watching on BBC he won the 2008 ABA championship. He obviously had a good amateur background what happened?

    Oh yeah and his nickname was Beautiful Brown Sugar. Lol.

    Good talent should never had gone on BB. Also, remember Sezer from it. He was also a former ABA champion but was a rich stock broker at 21.

    agogo got beat in the semi final of the aba's last yr. he is currently on the GB funded squad. not sure if he wil be in the aba's this yr, not all of the squad enter because of internationals etc.

    he is on trial with the GB squad. think he is light heavy now, maybe middle. he has a decent show of going to the olympics.

    if not he will go pro in the next 2 years.

    I personally think it was a good idea to do the BB show, raised his profile and had he turned pro would've had some interest. It's a start isn't it.

    And lol @ Sezer being ABA champ :lol: I reckon Glynn (the skinny welsh one who threw up after 2 cans of cider) who was in the same BB would handle him :yep

    I can see your point but that was over 3-4 years ago now right??

    If he wins a medal or goes to the olympics, big brother will be irelivent.

    he is very good freinds with George Groves btw, they still spar together.

    Yeah I meant if he turned pro after he failed to make the olympic team. BB would've still been fresh in people's memories.

    I know he went to a tournament with Groves having failed to go to the olympics. Sparring with Groves will be excellent for Ogogo.
