Maravilla Martinez will make Pavlik look FOOLISH

Idk man. Im a Martinez fan but its a tall order for him. Too much stamina and power to really favor Martinez.

 

i'm a martinez fan too and i was originally having a tough time deciding who would win this one, but after some deliberation, i really don't see how martinez is going to avoid getting KO'ed in this fight.

he got hit way too much against williams. if williams had any power at middleweight he probably would have knocked SM out. pavlik's gonna pressure the **** out of martinez and land bombs while he's sitting on the end of kelly's punches with his hands down.

martinez had better improve his D and lose those bad habits before this fight or he might just go night-night.

 

He will close the deal againt Pav.

The interesting thing is that Martinez is a very good counter puncher with power. I can actually see Pavlik getting caught with a big left hand after his combinations. If he can keep taking cuonters like that then he definately wins.

 

Pav will get pasted by a counter right hook. And it will be his undoing.

Come on dude. Paul Williams just is not a power puncher. If you have to use Andy Koelle as an example that should be an indicator.

 

I love me some KP but I have to agree with this post. Its not just Martinez's handspeed but his movement and counter punching that will give Pavlik fits....as always, Kelly has a puncher's chance, but if he's not able to establish the jab and land right hands, Martinez is gonna pitch a shut out I have the feeling. I see this fight ending in a UD win for Martinez.....that aside, go Pavlik!!!!
