Thanks for posting the video. But personally I like to see the strike contact the opponent as opposed to a bright flash of light and a screen shake.
That reminds me of alot of movies these days, everytime there is an action seen they simply shake the camera all around so you can't even tell WTF is going on.:-(
AMEN! the new james bond movies are so ridiculous its confusing and makes me want to vomit. Its like a cop-out on the sfx. I dont want to feel like im in it, I want to feel like I can see it all! did you see wolfman? they did this thing with a vibrant white flash and a loud pulse every 15 seconds that made me go half blind. I was raging so hard I almost left.
Halloween 2 was the same thing every action seen was simply a camera shaking....I can hardly remember the movie because all I think of was the shaking crap. it seems alot of movies are doing this not sure why....I can't stand it.
This jock-metal crap ruins the video. I'm not against the use of music, as the true fight audio can sound too choppy without some kind of sportscentre-like introductions/transitions.... But this music.... atsch
I imagine it has something to do with less re-takes. If you shoot the whole scene and someone moves to the wrong spot, says the wrong line, whatever they have to re-do it. I think it also makes it seem ExTReEMe!1!!111
