I think he can.. Hopkins style of fighting gives Roy a great chance of winning.. Roy jus gotta let his hands go and I believe he wins a comfortable UD.. Aggressive fighters that can punch are the ones that give Roy trouble nowadays..

Hopkins will dismantle Roy piece by piece. Roy should of retired after he beat Ruiz. He's never been the same fighter since moving back down from heavy.

the good thing about this fight for jones is neither fighter will wanna mess it up inside... and jones is a better fighter at range than bhop is imo. i have thought about this and i think it will be suited to jones. theres nothing that hopkins old body will let him do to disrupt RJ and throw him off his game... unless hop goes for the early KO, in which case he will either get it or lose by stoppage later on due to him being gased.

    Hopkins early KO
    ...or...
    Jones Points
    ...or...
    Jones late stoppage!!

Yeah, and losing to Tarver really messed him up too. I still like RJJ as a color commentator, though.

why would roy need to turn back the clock? is not like bhop has turned back his clock. Jones needs to grow a chin.

This fight will go the distance. They probably have already made an agreement not to hurt each other. Bernard 120-Roy 108.

I hope Bernard doesn't settle for a decision, and goes for the KO! He better , especially since it's PPV!

This is why Jones has a real chance to win this fight. He does not have to turn back the clock. Hopkins is 45 years old. He has aged also even thought we cannot see it as evidently. If Jones fights his fight he can win a close decision. I don't see how either guy winning is a great accomplishment.
