He's a nasty bit of unpleasantness that has to be taken care of before (hopefully) Haye moves onto bigger fights. He's rubbish though.

No if Haye loses he should get chased back to the CW division with flaming torches and pitchforks. If he wins he gets a shot at one of the Klits where he'll either break china chin Wlad down or be broken.

Absolutely, I am. First off, Roy Jones embarassed Ruiz. A year later he got KTFO by Tarver. He was alreay well past his prime and 40 pounds out of his weight class. Hilliarious that Ruize fans (yes, you are one, stop lying) would cite that one of his better fights. And yes, Brewster was better than Valuev. He Kayoed guys like Krasniqui and Golota that Valuev woul have undoubtedly struggled with. And Holyfield? Seriously. He has been a zombie for about a decade now. If he had fought Wlad he would have been Kayoed...easily.

Make some sense for once! If he's a cheater and a mediocre titleholder, why the heck are you rooting for him? :patsch

  6. Wlad tends to do this thing that Ruiz has apparently never heard of... its called Knocking people out. Ruiz on the other hand likes to throw a jab and then apologize immediately with a big sweaty hug...over and over again he does this.

Chagaev beat both Ruiz and Valuev by close decisions and then Klitschko rendered those wins null and void when he TKO9 Chagaev.

Klitschko would be IBF, WBO, and WBA right now if Chagaev's people didn't find a way for him to fight without putting his title on the line. All this talk about Haye being ATG if he beats Ruiz both makes me sick and makes me LOL at the same time. :tired:tired:lol::lol:

Omg, this thread has turned into the kind of "who du you like", it's like that all the time in here, plz, if you're a fan, let people know from the beginning... Personally I don't spend that much time with the HW's, there's not enough action up there, but I recognize real...

We're talking about two fighters that aren't interesting to watch in the first place... Both of them have been knocked cold by big punchers, I'm not saying that Ross Purity can be compared to Sanders, Brewster or Tua, and Tua is by far the best of the four, but Sanders is recognized as one of the biggest punching HW-southpaws ever, so I wouldn't call that a worse loss then the record breaking fast KO that Tua handed Ruiz, I mean, come on 19 seconds, that would be unimpressive for Amir Khan at HW!

They say that real champions bounce back from devastating defeats, well Wlad had two of them, was ruled completely out by every expert, see the Vitali Klitschko-Corrie Sanders tune-up on HBO if you doubt it...
Ruiz too came back, but he started wrestle even more, every fight is ugly and close when he's involved, where as Klitschko is boring today, simply because he is SO good. Emanuel Steward knew what he did when he turned him into the fighter he is today, Hearns and Lewis was no accidents, and Steward is regarded as a legend for a reason...

No doubt that Ruiz fought the better opposition, it simply is slim pickens today compared to the 90's, but did he deliver in these matches? Well he lost to almost every legitimate contender he faced, while Wladmir hast thourougly beaten the likes of Ibragimov, Thompson, Barrett, Byrd, Botha, Mercer, McCline, Brock and Chagaev and outpointed Sam Peter, who's credentials were very much similar to Tua's when he faced Ruiz, so give Wlad som credit for taking that fight after being KTFO two times before!

Wlad developed into a very very good fighter who dominated the type of guys that Ruiz struggles against (how many of the Klitschko-victims really comes back strong?), they might both be victorious against top 15 opposition, but there's a difference.

Just so there's no mix up: Ruiz fought better guys, but he lost and I don't see the same development in his career. Wlad is a better fighter today, then Ruiz could ever dream of being.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Ruiz is a FRAUD and a JOKE. Just like the transparent attempts of Haye fans to hype this cheater up to be anything more than the limited fighter he has always been. Without the power of Don King to get him title shot after title shot, and get officials to overlooks his ILLEGAL holding tactics, Ruiz would have been lucky to win a regional title, let alone some paper "world" belts.
