He's not gonna be fighting him next month is he, he has a fight :good

Braemer really isn't stand out mate at all. There's nothing to suggest that a. we have seen the best from Bellew and b. there's obviousl flaws to be exploited.

I doubt very much they are targeting Braemer for his next fight, merely just getting his name into the mix as doing in the UK has thus far proved pointless. Even if he did fight Braemer next, i'm not saying he would defo win but I can't see why us thinking he could would be insane ?? He was a tremendous amateur at a higher weight and like I said before he's 27 and there is nothing that suggest he wont go far.

There is definitely a reason why virtually nobody in the Uk will fight him and it isn't money pal. 1 particular fighter was offered more to face Bellew in a non title fight than he took for fighting Cleverley in a double domestic fight ?? Can't see any sense in that can you?

and Bellew doesnt have flaws??? he hasnt faced anyone on the fringe of domestic level so we have no clue how good he is.

Braemer has only two losses and thats to guys who our fringe world class in Garay and Veit. he went 12 rounds with both. He has 28 KO's in 35 wins so he is clearly a huge puncher. He has been fighting a better level of opposition than anyone Bellew has faced for 8 years. Bellew has never been beyond 4 rounds, Braemer has had over 10 12 round fights.

to think Bellew would win this fight is completely ridiculous and INSANE.

If Braemer is that bad, he wont be champion in a years time, so why even talk about it.

If Bellew wants tough tests get some americans over. Yusuff Mack, Byron Mitchell, Jeff Lacy, Joey Spina would all be tests and if Bellew is as good as he and others claim he would walk through them.

it might not be his fault but he shouldnt be calling out world champion when he has done nothing but beat journeyman for 2 1/2 years since turning over.

Like I said, i'm not saying he doesn't potentially have flaws, but like you alluded to regardless of the oppostion the flaws haven't been highlighted, so until they are you cannot say either way :good

And on a similiar point if he keeps knocking people out as he moves up in class will there still be the point of discussion as in "He hasn't gone past 4 rounds...." "He hasn't gone past 6 rounds....." - It isn't his fault that the fights haven't lasted. And for the record mate his last fight went 6 (Ableit because of a slight injury) :good

Also I believe your being a little unfair with regards to Velecky :good A very worthwile opponent. Not Tony's fault that he was iced in 1 :yep

Calzaghe banged Veit out in less than a minute first fight.

    Veit beat Braehmer.

    Your hate blinds you.

also Dan if Braemer is so ****, how can Bellew beating him make him a better fighter than Calzaghe who was world champion for 10 years and has 7-8 big names on hos record?

Get a grip boys. If you took my comments out of anything other than tong in cheek you both have problems.

And Grant yes he did, why was he then the only rematch Calzaghe ever took part in ? - Answers on the Choi thread lets not spoil this one :good

Veit was his mando, he'd strung 15 wins together since his fight with Calzaghe.

He'd still only lost the one fight out of 40-odd.

    Still **** though I agree.

Fair enough however you seem to want to pick holes in any arguments for a fighter who posts on here or a boxer who's coach posts on here regularly purely out of a need to stand out and not be known to 'ass-kiss' them because they are on here :good

So I can't tell what your genuine opinions are with regards to such fights :good (not just on this occasion)

wrong actually. I have never said anything negative about Bellew until this thread.

i have said on many occasions the Bellew, Gavin, Ashley Sexton (all ESB posters) are in my top 5 prospects along with Groves and Stephen Smith and will get to at least euro level.

Infact i didnt rate Gavin until he posted on here and i started watching him a bit more closley.

The Billy Nelson/Willie Limmond thing. I was standing up for what I beleive in with the WBU and allot of people on here completley bottled it and started kissing ass. I may have gone over board but thats only becuase others refused to voice the same opinion they would have for a non ESB poster.

Billy comes on here and only posts about his own fighters and says they would take any fight and beat anybody, and that never gets backed up. the 2nd you give an opinion he doesnt like he goes off on one. thats why we dont get on.
