Well, Hopkins claimed to have some sort thyroid problem between the times of his losses to Taylor and Calzaghe he supposedly had corrected. Maybe that would have been enough to give Pavlik the win. I don't know, with the way Hopkins schooled him, it's proof that just because you beat the guy who the beat the guy, doesn't mean you can beat that first guy.
