    Very witty stuff. :patsch

I am not sure Toney trains full stop, let alone ground work and kick defense, he doesn't even have a boxing style that would translate more easily to incorporate these other facets of combat.

What the hells wrong with you guys?! Leave the man alone, he's got balls to try different things even after all he's done.
Win, lose or lose badly, That's a real warrior, havin a dig right out of his comfort zone.

    Doesnt affect his boxing legacy.

I wont watch this as I'm not a UFC fan.

I'll probably only hear about the result through this forum.

So long as he doesnt get badly hurt, I dont see what the fuss is about.

UFC = Home of failed & or passed prime athletes, He will be fine.
If there is one thing JT can do it's fight!.

Now all he has to do it get a gay tattoo & watch some homo porn to learn some of those "Ground & Pound" moves.

If an old washed up ray mercer could knock out guys like tim silvia, then i'm pretty sure toney could ko some of the guys in the ufc,but if it goes to the ground hes dead meat.

james toney has totally the wrong style for UFC. he's a laid back scientific boxer, which will do **** all on the art of UFC. a brawler from a boxing has much more of a chance in UFC than a boxing defensive genious.

what i'm wondering is how much toney is making from UFC, because as we all know, UFC doesn't pay as much as boxing does for good level fighters. i know toney is not at the top at such anymore in boxing, but still, the finance difference in boxing and UFC for it's fighters is huge.

Yeah Toney is all wrong for the UFC, I will still watch it though. Mayorga may be more sucessful, I could see him knocking some guys out.

And sadly, he doesn't have a lot left in the tank in boxing either.
