I seen his first fight and though not the greatest technique the bloke kicks like a mule thats for sure..He looks like a bloke that could take a shot aswell. One thing we all know is he wont be overpowered by anyone he faces. If he gets the right coaching to best suit his strengths(which is his ridiculous strength) then who knows how far he can go..I really dont know what the bloke genuinely has to offer.. All i know is i would be teaching the beast how to grapple and control people on the ground whilst throwing fists at their melon..Doesnt take too much technique to throw wild hammerfists..And he sure as **** would have a strong hammer on him.. Im not going to be too critical on the bloke.Just sit back and watch the show unfold.
Depends what you mean by overpower I would take Lesnar to double leg him and keep him flat on his back quite comfortably.
Really? The guy is twice as strong as Lesnar! I know a lot of it comes down to tecnique, but I honestly can't see anybody keeping this beast on his back. Pudz isn't a Bob Sapp...The man has heart, and is one of the most aggressive Strongmen I've ever seen. He has to much ego to be shown up....Maybe knocked out, but not shown up. He seems to have all the tools (massive size, massive power, quick, heart, aggressive, etc). With proper training I wouldn't bet against him. That includes Lesnar, and hell even Fedor. That is only with time to train, and a few matches under his belt, BUT by then I'm sure Fedor will be gone.
Pudz is significantly stronger than Lesnar. But in a wrestling match it would not even be close. Pudz would get easily controlled by a quality wrestler like Lesnar, stick Pudz in with a 220lb olympic calibur wrestler and he would get controlled and dominated. Controlling a man is skill and in Lesnars case comes down to may years of training. It os the reason why other guys Lesnars size dont control people half as effectivly in mma fights, because of Lesnars skill set.
Lesnar with his size and more importantly skills on the mat would indeed control a novice like Puds with ease, though if Puds gets some serious grappling training he could work ways to get off his back etc...I just think with his incredible strength he wouldnt have to be 100% on the mat like alot the rest of the field would to compete with the likes of lesnar.. As i mentioned before i would have Puds doing some serious grappling training as he is a beast waiting to be unleashed..Imagine what kind of control he could put on his opponents with his strength.. I know strength isnt absolutely everything but look at the likes of Matt Hughes who due to his crazy strength(for his size) can control people and also get himself out of bad situations..I know Hughes is a awesome grappler but his crazy strength is a key factor for that.. Man i would be pumped if i were training a untapped resource like Puds..
Im not going to say he can beat the like of Lesnar and Fedor but im also very excited about the potential of Puds...
I think he needs more training in greco (and bjj obviously..)...apart from that , he's a threat to anyone imo...(simply due to his insane physical strength)...
