I say this honestly and not dissing Pac because he is a boxer and as a fan of boxing I want Pac to be as successful as possible. I talk crap about him, but it is just talk. I want him and his family to be prosperous now and when the physiological "bill" for his occupation comes due. I also want as many masculine Asian role models to suceede as I feel sick of the BS stereotypes of Asian American men. (I am NOT Asian American.)

I believe it is true. Some guys are gullible like that. They can be tricked. Just the way you are talking, you feel this would be an insult to Pac and the Asian demographic. Especially considering the money that they pay to other demographics. I am sure Nike would have set this straight IMMEDIATELY to not incite bad feelings in the Asian community. Also to avoid Adidas from scooping Pac up for more. Adidas is far more active and loved in Asia than Nike.

Black athletes have been there and learned. Look at Joe Louis. An ATG, he died broke. They were the "fuel" for guys like Mayweather and Hopkins. They watched the previous generation get "raped". They are much more business saavy.

To Pac's credit and detriment, he is the first Asian combat athlete to suceede on this level of the game. Sure, he will take some losses. Hopefully this trash talking from Mayweather will get him pissed and asking questions. As a bonus, I hope Nonito gets on his grind and gets that money too for the younger generation!

You're a ****ing moron if you listen to anything Floyd says in interviews that isn't directly related to boxing. You're double a ****ing moron if you make a post on an internet forum whining about it.

what nipple floss just said... this is the reason why women should not be allowed to comment or get involved with discussions on boxing, the sport, business and politics of it.

    This post is stupid.

No, Pac didn't sign for 74K. Believing that **** is ******ed.

With that said, throwing 30 million dollars out there with no link is equally ******ed.

News Flash: PBF is a HOF fighter who pops a ton of ****. Some of it entertaining. Some of BS.

    WHO GIVES A ****?

I swear the investment fans put into PPV sales and how a fighter's feelings might be hurt by something another fighter said outside the ring is comical. The funny part of this **** is I'm confident that everyone on here would consider themselves fans of Ali. Yet some of the **** he said about opponents is INFINITELY worse than anything PBF has said about his opponents.

i'm not reading this whole read, as most of it is nonsense, and for the record, pacquiao annoys me, but from my limited knowledge, the FIRST nike deal was a 2-year deal in 2006 for nike phillipines (basically, a regional deal), so it could have been for a low amount. he is still being endorsed, i think, and that means his deal would have been reworked/extended, and since it would be more of a global market this time, i would believe he got a rather nice raise (from nike)

Just let the people who are interested in the business and money side of the sport discuss this topic and keep shut your pie hole if you got nothing good to conribute to this topic. Boxing is still business and business is still interesting.

And I don't need to no link to prove anything about inking a 30 million dollar deal with Nike Asia (Nike's largest and most profitable market).. I don't need no link to prove anything especially to a bunch of chumps stupid enough to think the Nike deal was not in the tens of millions.

the chances are no one on this forum actually knows, which is why it's quite pathetic to even debate about it. like i said before, i'll be surprised if pacquiao is only getting paid 74k, and i'll leave it at that.

You say u dont need no link to prove anything. But yet you then complain when floyd claims pac makes 74k from nike without any evidence. Do you see the irony there?

I agree Floyd is like the idiot savant of boxing. In the ring he's a genuis of the highest order, outside of it he's a little bit special and shouldn't be allowed outside without adult supervision.
