My problem is not so much with fighting the German fighters part, but with the going to Germany part...

I know it's a risk but the money is good, and if you belive in yourself what's the problem. Thats exatly why i'm a fan of Kessler, going for the best anywhere anytime, Sydney, Cardiff who cares, "i'm not figthing the crowd, thank god, but only the opponent" Kessler yesterday, when asked about figthing in Wales, would be a problem for him.:good

Germany is a completely different matter! If Kessler ever fought in Germany he would be an idiot if you ask me. You can easily "win" in Germany and still lose. In Germany you don't fight the crowd either, but you are often fighting the opponent, the ref and the judges at the same time.:yep

    A little bit.

Let me give you an example. If Kessler-Mundine had taken place in Germany and Mundine had been a German home fighter then Kessler would most likely have lost a close decision by SD or MD.

No way Andrade beat Bute, Berrio beat Andrade..., prime Lacy ? we have to see him at prime first...

Andrade would beat Berrio, but I do agree with you on the other points. I assume you meant 'back at prime' regarding Lacy.

Yeah..., i've seen Berrio destroy Mack couple of fight ago, the same Mack that give Andrade hell for some rounds, how can Andrade beat Bute if Mack almost did beat Andrade ? Stillwise, Mack and Berrio are similar, Bute is way too good for Andrade, Berrio is better than you guys think.

Kessler went to Australia for because of a 7 figure payday.

I doubt Sauerland would offer the same to Bute for a defense against Stieglitz or Inkin or Larsen.

    But, I might be wrong.

One or two ok defences. He won't get to fight Calzaghe-Kessler win but he might get the loser. He'll only get a major bout if he can suddenly make a name for himself.

decebal, you have been one of the best supporter of Bute for a while now, i am too, but I think you have too much expectation for his first and second title defenses. It is so hard to put your hands on a title that I think Interbox will want to cash it now. I think the strategy for the next year until his fist mandatory will be low risk-medium reward type of fighter. Therefore, they will be looking for the best name that is not really a threat for Bute. Your objective is to see best fights possible (i would like too) but for interbox, the objective is to full up the bell center and keep the title as long as they can. It's a bussiness.

That being said, I think the first name on the list is Beyer. He is **** now but everybody in québec dream to see him get a beating because of the Lucas robbery in Germany. Beyer in MTL (will never happen) could draw 20 000+, even more than Calzaghe would. Sanavia is marketable because he once won over Beyer. Andrade is highly marketable because he once won over Otis Grant. You get my point?

Your expectations are legitimate, but bottom line what really matter is how many Joeblow pay to see the fight. Nobody care if the hardcore internet fans are happy or not.

I think you will see Bute takes high risk fights when HBO will put some cash on the table, if that ever happen.

    Just my opinion

For what it is..., Bute pick Kessler a month ago to beat Calzague. He told people today that he switch is mind, even tho Kessler school is friend Lucas, he think that Calzague is going to beat kessler.

Bute is a big boxing fans, ive seen him several time at "brasserie au coin du métro" in montreal.
