Paulie Hyland heads out to Italy tuesday for his EU title fight on friday 12th going into the lions den to fight an Italian lets get behind him lads
There was a funny piece in yesterday's Sunday Life about a 'tongue in cheek' new campaign that was launched by the Sunday Life: "Bring back Barry's Jabs". This is reference to the novelty crisps that were launched by a TV campaign in the 80's starring Barry McGuigan. There were three varieties available; Barry Jabs (Nettle-flavour), Onion Rings and Barry' Gloves (sausage and tomato flavour). According to the article, Bazza wants the crisp range revived and was quoted: "I loved those nettle-flavoured crisps - pardon the pun - they had a real sting" "I just wish I could find a manufacturer who would start making them again. They did really well as they were a novelty. They could really help a company bite back at the credit crunch. I want everyone to support my bid to get someone making these again." PS. The article concludes with, 'if you've got any Barry memorabillia including packets of Barry's Jabs, get in touch on 02890 264315. *I feel a facebook group being formed any minute. Slappy? I can't remember these Barry's Jabs crisps myself, anyone remember these?
Yeah I remember them. Everyone thinks I'm ****ing nuts, though, since nobody else remembered them. This link is getting e-mailed by me!
I personally think there should be a campaign to bring back McGuigan's TV show!:good RTE or UTV could do with it:good
The feckers in the office here actually wantin me to do some work - thats what! you dont get to push a whip like mine without droppin a couple of hours in aswell! Also the video file is so big that its been downloading all weekend - add that to the fact the me mudder was over the weekend and the Kenny Anderson article I did on Sunday had to be scrapped after Paul Daivd pulled out again and the YouTubing had to drop a notch on the priorities brother. Will try and get round to it tanite though.
Steve has done an interview with Paulie which I will put up in the near future. Its a great opportunity for Paulie. Should open some doors if he comes home with the belt
Anybody reckon Sky will show the duddy fight...... Im hoping so, As coverage starts at 2am but i dont think Pac-Man will be out til about the 4 mark
I'd say theres a decent chance, you can sometimes get 3 undercard fights televised on those big cards

JAMIE ARTHUR CONFIDENT OF LINDSAY UPSET http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/8448865.stm Hello lads, Ultimate buzz, gasman and myself are heading over to this fight together. Anyone else interested in going along with us, PM either one of us, and we will pass on flight times [we are flying from Belfast] and the hotel we are staying in. Cormac can sort you out with a ticket, or you can phone Frank Maloney's offices directly. Anybody wanting to go but flying from Dublin, can still meet up with us at the hotel. At this time I'm hearing that there is around 150 traveling Lindsay fans, and that should make for a good night.
