Yes, he's a very talented fighter. He also has made me laugh like no man has ever made me laugh. Not even the creepy old neighbor who liked to tickle me as I walked to my mailbox in the mornings.

YEP---a boxer with exceptional skills--mores the pity that he never had the 'Duran - La motta or Ray Robinson' class of boxers during his reign---nothing like a hard fought Trilogy to make yourself remembered ---debatable whether he would have triumphed over these elite 3...

No, he's been hand picking opponents since 140 and refuses to seek out the very best challenges despite being in a position where any of the 147 elite would jump in the ring with him for the money alone.

It's a disgrace to those with talent but who don't bring the economics to get the bigger fights. For this alone and how he hand selected Hatton, a guy who is tailor made to order for him and too small for Welterweight after the need to fight an elite level 147 is just disgraceful.

Floyd is the P4P #1 and in a position where he can GET anyone to fight him, he chooses Ricky Hatton.

La Motta was an unskilled brawler who would have failed in a more evolved era.

For me it will depend on the current crop of boxers during that time... if no one could come close to the skills that PBF shows us right now... then to some extent ill might be missing him.... but if the sport produces a lot new and exciting fighters like PAC, PAvlik, Izzy, R. MArquez etc... then I dont think ill miss him at all...

Did you jus call Floyd Mayweather middle class??? If Floyd knew what middle class was he wouldn't act the way he does. He's a black kid from the ghetto who got money and is enjoying his life sometimes he acts a fool but who doesn't when they're rich...

yes i will. great fighter, and his personality entertains me sometimes (though at times it can be infuriating). he should hang around the sport after retirement too, become some sort of floyd sr. type of character in the future.
