I seriously doubt it. Shane Mosley is fearsome warrior. I can't see Mayweather exchanging with him unless he has determined it's an entirely safe proposition. He knows Mosley is tank tough. No point anyway.

i was shocked it was signed just because of floyds history of being told get some more fights under your belt by mosley. then floyd being the bigger draw and returning the favor.

Yep, absolutely. You know, I actually remember a few people picking Hatton to KO Mayweather with ease when they fought. Not only will nobody acknowledge picking Ricky in that fight, they have to talk about Hatton being way undersized and it being an unfair fight. Which it was in hindsight, but I dont' remember a lot of that at the time.

As to the OP ... nah, I don't expect him to get in there and brawl with him, why would he? The chance Shane has at winning is if he can get toe to toe with Floyd, do some damage and then slow/wear him down. Why should Floyd try to fight the one way that could lead to a Shane win?

Exactly, obviously we'd all love to see him try, but if you're Floyd and you know you can win with Style A, or you have a 50/50 shot at winning with Style B, why go for Style B?

floyd didnt want to trade with baldy or marquez hes not trading with mosley. i think floyd is tougher than alot of people give him credit for but hes not stupid and trading with mosley would be stupid. floyd can give two ****s if the crowd thinks the fights boring, hes proven time and time again that he will do what he has to do to win, and thats not a bad thing. if he finds he can beat mosley by not exchanging, but potshotting and countering mosleys telegraphed right hands all night so be it. that said i think mosley will have his moments and the fight will be fairly entertaining but floyd will win a close but convincing unanimous decision.

Mayweather is going to test mosley chin. If mayorga gave mosley a difficult fight what will floyd do?

    :lol::lol::lol:

We all know Shane (and Margo) caused Floyd's first retirement. Shane might as well do Floyd a favor and make it permanent now. :rasta I could see the big OOPS after May 1st. The fraud will be exposed. :hey

Ha ha ha who was scared?

Well, let's just see how Floyd fares against Sugar Shane.

    RA the Rugged Man:
"...you afraid of Sugar Shane brother..."

It took a natural calamity to force Floyd's hand, and even then it took days for him to sign the contract on the table.

Here's hoping there's no sudden "injuries" that nixes the fight altogether. :-(

Yea, Shane losing to Cotto really intimidated Floyd into retirement. I love how every fighter in and around Welterweight in 2007 is supposed to have caused Floyd's retirement, despite the fact that he'd been talking about retiring for two years.

Void knows that he does not have to fight, all he has to do is be standing at the end of the fight. Judges cards have already been filled out.

Are you stupid? He didn't even fuzz a bloated Marquez. Stop Shane!? That would truly be shocking.

He has no balls to do that. He will keep running like he always do.
What makes you believe that he would stand to interchange punches
with Mosley when he ran in the ring against smaller boxers such as
    Marquez and Hatton ?

early the fight will look good...but i dont think Shane can keep up TACTICALY....i think Mosley as great as he is has to go to his corner to make adjustments while Floyd can do so in mid fight with a variety of punches and styles.
