He should get his arse back in the gym one last time and get it done.
A fully motivated and hungry Hatton could cause nightmares for Khan. Ricky needs to get his head right , sort his team out and have a go it's been years since we've had a proper all british super-fight.
Ricky's got plenty of time to eat pies and sup ale he was beaten by the best fighter in the world in pretty embarrasing style and is probably not the fighter he was but seeing him all fat and feeling sorry for himself is making me a bit sad.
I reckon he'd have a great chance of beating Khan and going out on a proper high rather than in the shambolic way it's turned out with the Mayweather Snr farce and the poor way he went about fighting someone likne Manny Pac.
The guys only 31, obviously loves boxing and has a ready made, very winnable huge fight against another north west fighter in his grasp.Big fight for the country, in his home town, for loads of money, get yourself down the gym ricky lad.

Yep cos Kostya Tszyu was a right soft *******.
Like Hatton himself said " what do you think this is a tickling contest " ?
Find me actual journalist or boxing experts quotes that say Hatton was too rough  against Tszyu. it's only on these forums that i hear that from people who are probably very young and have barely any knowledge of boxing.

On his day, a prime Ricky Hatton is too much for Amir Khan. Too much tenacity, pressure and fight. One hum dinger on Khans chops and its good night vienna.

    Hatton wins by stoppage.

Yea tell that fat tosser to get in the gym and stop ****ing about. Hes blatently got loads left to offer and hes just drinking himself into retirement.

Ricky Hatton nights are the best nights in boxing. Needs to fight while he still can.

I think it's taken it's toll, look at the condition the guys in.
No man with a hunger/desire to compete at the top of a sport would let himself go the way Ricky has.

    Retired at a good time.

Am I the only one who thinks his speech is slurring or was he pissed in the interview I saw? (could be both)

Sorry but with the way Amir Khan is performing these days and the way Ricky Hatton is. Hatton wouldn't beat him, he would spend the whole night trying to get a big punch on Khans chin and I don't think he would, theres no way Hatton is quicker with his punches or on his feet. And think about what you're saying, Hatton has turned himself into a fat slob that doesn't respect his body and if he came back to beat a young up and comer that has a weak chin just to convince himself he is better then what he is, that would just be pointless, ruining the career of a great British prospect and for what?

    EDIT.

I mean't to add this on.

But that besides the point. At this stage of their careers and with Freddie Roach in his corner, I don't see how Khan would come close to losing. Hatton fans should just respect the fact that he no longer is the fighter that he was.

KHAN is improving he is on the up right now and Hatton is lucky to fight an upcomer version of this kid.

A prime Amir STOPS Hatton ...

Hatton should win as even though his Chin has been cracked, all he has to do is land a stiff jab on Khan and it's goodnight Vienna. Khan has a Glass Jaw.

Those come forward fighters like Hatton always peak at 30 so he doesn't have much time left in the game. I like his chances in a Khan fight and think he would steamroll Amir. It would make the perfect ending to his career!

Yea i think Hatton wipes the floor with Khanage. If someone like Breidis prescott can do what he did to Khan, i just think Hatton could take his tanned ass out.
