That's Maidana and Bradley out of a near future fight by the look of it. What chance of him fighting Alexander or Valero next?
Didn't Frank Warren have a fight set up with Bradley before Khan jumped ship? I never thought I would see the day a fighter would leave Warren because he was making too tough fights.:rofl
The thing is Khan needs to build his name up in the States, right now no one knows him over there only hardcores. That is one of the reason why they have picked Paulie as his debut fight in U.S. Khan needs at least 2 or 3 fights to prove his worth in the U.S market that he is a young and up and coming force, and needs to be respected and feared. I think in 3 fights Khan will fight the winner of Alexander vs Bradley for a big money fight. I think Khan is going to put on a great show vs Paulie in his U.S debut by KO/TKO him in the 8th 9th round. As for people who say Bradley would outbox Khan or KO Khan, you need to understand Bradley 5'6 , Khan 5'10 would fight at range and use his fast feet and hands a score a UD over Bradley. Also Bradley is no KO killer puncher and Khan at 140 looks steady, body weight balanced, natural weight, chin will hold better at this weight, but we will see. Yet to see someone outbox Khan, his handspeed is something else, you and Paulie will see what i mean May 15th, ask Salita after the fight he said he did not even see the left and right coming that put him on his bum for the first KD.
The whole "...when it's a big big fight..." line is as cheap as excuses come. Just say "We'd lose." That's the truth in almost every case.
Roach is simply stating the obvious which is Khan isn't ready for Bradley. He realizes that Bradley is the perceived preeminent 140 fighter so of course if his guy (Khan) keeps winning that there will inevitably be a showdown between the 2 fighters; and is acknowledging the possibility.
