Interesting, that if Martinez wins their is a re-match clause.

If Pavlik gets schooled again will he even want a re-match?

If he looses to Sergio with the size & power advantage he has, his career will take a real hit.

I have Sergio by wide decision. Ask yourself this, if you were a trainer, would you worry more about getting prepared for a PW with a very super active, akward style, or Pavlik who has power but very, very conventional. Sergio is probably licking his chops. Also, Pavlik has already been exposed. Pavlik has very slow feet, if he cant get set to get his shots off, there isnt any power behind them. Martinez moves too well to sit in one spot to get pelted by Pavliks 1-2. Unless Pavlik develops skills that he didnt have before, this is a easy fight to predict.

Let him lick his chops now cuz he'll be licking his wounds afterwards. :yep You really think Martinez is fast enough to get IN AND OUT without Pavlik landing on him?

Go back and watch Martinez vs Williams. One of Martinez's strengths is the way that he uses distance and lateral movement, and his counterpunching ability. Whenever he would catch PW, it was always a counter. He would catch him with a shot when PW wouldnt expect one coming back at him. For an example of this, watch round 3, around 1:22.

Go back and watch Hopkins vs Pavlik. Pavlik is not a counter puncher, at all. As Emmanuel Stewart put it, "Pavlik is clumsy with his legs" when given movement. When given lateral movement, if you attack Pavlik, he is never in position to counter you. He has to come forward unimpeded to be effective. As alway though, he has a punchers chance because of his power. Sergios only worry should be getting caught flat footed.

I've posted several times now. Williams made it way to easy for Martinez. This will not be the same fight at all. Paul gave up his height and Martinez made him pay. Kelly isn't going to lunge in and Sergio isn't winning a fight backing up staying out of range.
