Let's see those guys fight Pacquio at 130. Pacquio didn't make history fighting welter, he made history in the lower weights. Pacquiao is a true welter. If he doesn't want to fight at WW, then he should weigh in at 140 or less and fight in a lower division. He used to fight in lower divisions but like a lot of other great fighters he has moved him and won titiles along way. He's already a great fighter and people don't need to keep making of BS as a way of trying to hold him up in higher esteem by making size excuses. You think a prime DLH would lose to a prime Pac? Wow. Ok. I highly disagree based on the fact that he has a size/height/reach advantage. Of course that renders useless when a fighter turns old, loses his desire to fight and becomes drained. Oscar had one of the best jabs in the game. That along with his height, decent speed, and determination, he should be able to keep Pac at bay. The Oscar I saw in the fight against Pac was the guy who just wanted to show up, pretend to work, and get paid. I think listing Pac as a natural lightweight is a way to promote him, to bolster his image. The guy walks around at a weight of 150-155 lbs. That suggests to me he's more of a welterweight. I've seen him in person and he does appear small but not any smaller than Hatton. He actually looked bigger than Cotto during their weigh in.
Why don't you show proof of those claims. Especially when there are several quotes from Roach stating the opposite, that Manny has to eat a lot in order not to lose size. Cotto's a lot bigger than Manny, structurally. People only watch height, when the actual weight is dependent on many other factors. Cotto was ripped as f*ck in that weigh in, that's generally a sign of a fighter barely making weight. Pacquio is very confortable let's say making 147. Oscar's a great fighter, but Manny's too elusive for him.

Believe me, I don't just compare height. I study the entire frame. On that particular day Cotto looked drained, thinner than usual. It didn't matter what weight he came in at though, because Pac is just the better man in terms of skill. But if we're talking about size alone, Pac appeared bigger on that day.
