bottom line you can't really say either guy was scared of fighting the other. Pac had no way of knowing Floyd would turn down 24 days and Floyd had no way of knowing Pac would turn down 14. Its pretty petty stuff which just exacerbates my point.

If anything this tells you that both camps respect the other as a challenging opponent and are unwillinging to give up any edge or even anything that could even be perceived as an edge to the opposing camp.

 

Mayweather made a public statement saying he still wanted to make the fight and Pac had a fight confirmed within a matter of days, take from that what you will.

 

i agree his actions of being a bigger duck than daffy have been very well documented.

I'm not saying anyone is scared.....never have. I don't think Boxers at this level have it in them to be "SHOOK". But clearly I saw some concern in the way Floyd reacted to knowing that he would be facing Manny. And I even went as far as to say yea.....Manny didn't do everything possible to ensure this fight would be made so obviously he didn't want it as much as we did as fans. But for me.....MY OPINION....Floyd was the main cause for the collapse of this fight. While PAC holds some resposibility in this fight not coming off, the source of the issue stemmed from Floyd. Which is why I'm stating I hold Floyd accountable moreso than Manny. But that last paragrah is exactly what I think is causing the stalemate.

No one wants to give in....EGOS! Unfortunately the fight is not happening at the moment but i think it will at some point. It will be interesting to see who gives in to who.

Then Pac proceeded to become:

-- afraid of needles
-- weakend by blood loss
-- in need of special testing windows (30 days)

All of this proved to be false from tattoos, the 24/7 (24 days), and was even proved further false by the blood testing for this fight (20 days).

Then Pac cancelled negotiations not Mayweather. The mediator came out and said Team Pac lied about what happened in negotiations. Team Pac lied about 14 days not being offered then admitted they lied.

Given the set of facts, how do you logically come to your conclusions? :huh

Pac eventually said he wanted to fight then started listing reasons why FMJ would kill the fight. FMJ gave in to EVERY demand. To my knowledge, he only things he asked for were top billing, drug testing, and venue. I think the entire boxing community was surprised at how eager FMJ was. I was.
