How good was he? Could he have gone to 130 & 135? How would have he done against against the likes of Kevin Mitchell etc?
IMO very good fighter deffo world class, who would struggle with the best but was a class boxer, Mitchell at super featherweight would of been a ******* prime for prime.
He was a real machine at his best, relentlessly rolling forward, taking punches to land his own, never seemed to get tired. His best performance IMO was the title winning one against Chacon (he was brilliant in that fight). However he was a bit one-dimensional, and had problems with guys who had decent engines themselves, could move a bit and absorb a bit of punishment. Also, maybe no coincidence that two of the guys who gave him a lot of bother (Manuel Medina and Victor Polo) were lanky fellas with good reach. Dunky will fill in the blanks in this one (I'm just going by what I remember). In addition, he was massive at the weight, which helped a lot given his style. I don't really think he would have been as effective going up in weight (he loses a lot of his major assets going up), but he probably would have handled most of the guys at FW today.
i think harrison was a top level fighter but think he had reached his top level. maybe he could have gone to super feather and done something. he won a belt but he was never gonna beat the top names at those weights (at the time barrera, morales, pacquiao) and be a true world champion
who cares, he's a horrid ******* who beat up family, friends, women and toddlers. A drink driver by trade, he's lucky he didnt kill someone.
He's a **** and so is his brother. They were in a bar in Hamilton which I also happened to be in a few years ago and he shoved a barmaid because he 'deserved to be served first'.
when scott gets out the jail i still think he will do ok boxing wise even though hes not had a fight in ages
He can't have been far off reaching his potential. He was basically a good-ish fighter, who was pretty massive at the weight.
