    Round 1

Soto actually looks the bigger and stronger man, surprisingly. Both men leading with their back hands (right for Soto, left for Diaz).

A clash of heads brings a pause in the action.

Soto drops Diaz with a hook; David's glove brushes the canvas and ref applies the count. Diaz comes back, crouching and jabbing. Soto hangs back and tries to time a counter right hand.

    Soto 10-8

Honestly, if they threw some good fighters on this undercard like lopez, gamboa, or pavlik they could have sold out the stadium easy. Im tired of arum and his ****ing **** undercards :patsch

Thats why i hate going to bars when pac fights, i have to spend 40 bucks worth of beer just to make it to the final event :yep:yep

and by that time im screaming and at risk of being thrown out :-(

Casamayor is fighting at 142, Nate Campbell is around here somewhere, Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales are both on comeback tours. Oh he has some more shot fighters to scalp.

Soto is out-boxing him easily, I can't see Diaz lasting past 6 at this rate.

    Round 2

Soto catches the right jab of Diaz on his left glove. Diaz lunges in with his head down and Soto slaps him with a right. Diaz tries a hook to the body but Soto easily dodges it, then snaps a right hand, crashing Diaz's own gloves into his face. Diaz paws with the jab a bit, and Soto steps forward with a 1-2 to the head. Diaz now getting picked off with counters every time he steps into a jab. Soto leaning away from Diaz's shorter jabs and timing him with right hands. Soto landing most of what he tries, gets a little bold and tries for a huge corkscrew hook that misses.

    Soto easy round.

    20-17
