Great? His response to a fighter he couldn't hit is just throw 100 punches a round and hope he lands. Mute the sound, block out the nuthugging commentators and see if Pacquiao is actually landing anything cleanly? Instead of finding ways to open Clottey up, he just won rounds because he knew he could throw and Clottey wouldn't. A fighter that can both make Pacquiao miss AND counter would beat him. Come on...
HE was great, yes..the haters are just being well...haters. If that was FLOY running and pot shotting, they say it's a master peice? GTFO.
I have never really been a Pac fan for the simple reason he keeps turning over all of my favourite fighters. He was brilliant tonight, absolutely brilliant.
So using defense to AVOID punches and deliver solid counterpunches and controlling the fight isn't better than standing there with your hands up letting Manny beat on you all night? I like both fighters but I wish more boxing fans would appreciate real defensive skill and not just the exciting punches in bunches. Why can't people like both? (besides being bandwagoners)
Pac came out with the 'business as usual' mentality. He threw some amazing combinations and seemed to finish many of his whirlwind flurries with a stiff right hook to the body that was finding the target flush. He fought like a 'Texas Tornado' leaving Clottey dizzy and confused.
Such honesty, like myself,we are allowed to make our opinions whilst in no way demeaning each fighter. Pacquiao for all his exceptional talent by his smaller size alone could be exposed by Mayweather or probably even Moseley, seasoned top level welterweight campaigners. He`ll kill Mayweather bahhh, who`s that little spermboy saying that?Anyway, hope the fight happens.
yeah,....that was a great moment in time.... i will remember it until my brain makes room for something memorable
