Spin my comments eh ? He's an ambassador for the sport in the UK. I'm not

He doesn't really wish Froch all the best does he ? NO

He can't really complain about British Boxing dying can he (even though it isn't) ? NO

He's a hypocritical, attention seeking ***** - End Of :good

So tell me where you draw the line?

What about trainers training foreign boxers to beat fellow brits?
    Promoters?
What about Beckham playing for an Italian side against an English side?
    There's many examples.

All ambassadors wanting Brit players/teams to lose.

I know where you draw the line.

It's when the name doesn't start with a 'J' and end with an 'oe Calzaghe'.

Going out now, talk later :good

They have to earn a crust :good They are still in the business, and doing a job they have to do. Calzaghe is retired and has no reason to intently go out of his way to help in Froch's demise. Plain and simple

Same again, he has no choice about who he plays IN A TEAM GAME. It's like him going to Barcelona and saying I tell you what Frank, 'll give you tips on how to beat United in the CL Final

Listen you know I don't like the fella but this is a low move mate :good

Hope you have a nice day out :good

How would Calzaghe be able to help anyway?

He's never fought Froch and he's not a trainer.

    What a bizarre story.

Calzaghe doesn't like Froch, if he wants to give Kessler a few tips (and lets be honest we don't know the extent of the help or even if there was any help) then thats his choice.

I couldn't care less either way about Calzaghe but Froch must have made himself a PITA spouting off all the time in papers about fighting Calzaghe when everyone knew the fight was a complete non-starter at that time.

I don't blame Froch for doing it, he was just getting his name out there but I can also see why Calzaghe doesn't like him and may have "dropped a dime" to Kessler to chat about the fight.

If its true I can only think he'd have pointed out to Kessler things that happened in their fight that Kessler may want to make adjustments on?

Other than that the story just smacks of the promoters press office trying to get some column inches.

What's Joe gonna tell him though?

"Well Mik, Froch has no head movement, keeps his hands down, wants to brawl with you, has good, accumulative power, but slow punches and a great chin"

Thanks for that Joe, we never picked up on any of that.

Seems quite pathetic to me if true. I can't imagine Calzaghe doing for any other reason than because he hates Froch and is just being petty. I know he has respect for Kessler but I doubt they're close friends or anything. Maybe I'm wrong but who knows either way though? If so though, Calzaghe is just better off just coming out of retirment to face Froch himself. It saves him looking less like a twit than he has done in recent times that's for sure. Froch will have to beat Kessler first though!

Ben it's pretty obvious to me that they're not good friends nor are they even in any kind of contact considering the ***** had to go through Kesslers agent :deal

Has this been verified as truth? If not, I fully expect the naysayers to offer Mr Calzaghe a full and frank apology.
