Yeah, I didn't mind it. Usually when Lampley does his dramatics, I'm like, "****ing Lampley with his drama queen antics". But being drunk and disappointed by the fight, I liked it as it provided some humor.
I completely agree with this post. I have always picked mayweather UD, but pacquiao proved he will punch every second you let him, and floyd's punch output is abysmal.
Really though, it's pathetic comedy when simpletons mistake compliments for siding with a boxer. 1 guy does well, he's cheered. The other guy does poorly, he's criticized. That's it. Bias isn't necessarily driving the analysis just because it happens to be against the boxer you like. :bartatsch:nono
Lampley did not give clottey credit for his uppercuts or straight rights. I was completely put off by that..... the bang bang bang **** was something I would do playing street fighter 2 when I was 12.
Lampley was dreadful last night. all he kept doing was making derisory remarks about the action all night. I actually thought Kellerman was good, something I never thought I would say.
The funniest part in the fight IMO was when Pacquaio, probably out of frustration, BANGED Clottey's both ears with his hands.
To Lampley's credit, Clottey didn't give him much to work with. Manny may as well have been fighting a mannequin. Must suck for the announcers when one of the boxers doesn't want to participate and it becomes a wholly one-sided affair.
Lampley embarrassed himself. The fact that Pac was landing punches on Clottey's forearms while Lampley was making his sound effects made it even worse.
