Chambers would be the first fighter to win a decision against Wlad. I find a Chambers win highly unlikely, but if he DOES win then it must be via TKO/KO. You can't outbox a much taller boxer who's a better boxer. You have to knock him out, or you cut and bruise his face until he's blind, or you make him quit, or you make his corner throw in the towel. Anything. But you will never, ever want to rely on the scorecards.
Chambers doesn't have TKO/KO power, what Chambers needs to do is pressure Wladimir and constantly be in face his like he was against Dimitrenko. Chambers cannot stand in front of Wladimir like he was against Dimitrenko, he needs to use lateral movement, constantly moving, and constantly within punching range. What Chambers has compared to Byrd, Chagaev, and Ibragmiov is amazing reflexes and head movement.
Chambers by decision more votes than stoppage ? Well said , if Chambers wins it will never be a decision . This would be almost like saying Clottey decisions Pacquiao ...
Don't underestimate Chambers. He's a slick guy with an extensive amateur background, lightening fast hands and reflexes and who has faced big punchers before. The problem is that none of those big punchers were as long or precise as Wlad. Wlad by UD although if Chambers fights the fight that he's capable of, he could surprise a lot of people. The problem is that he'll have to **** Wlad over 12 rounds to win a decision.
To be honest, Eddie seems very confident in himself. Who knows maybe he does have what it takes. Haha and if he somehow wins that will shove it up the ass of HBO, SHOWTIME, and ESPN
The size difference is really huge and knowing that Wlad is really great at using his size to full advantage, it´s really hard to believe that Chambers can win this.
