where i think tyson was after spinks, roy was after kelly in terms of his mystique amongst other boxers.

I mean the point where he is beating other fighters before he even steps into the ring with them- where his rep is enough to win fights for him. I mean consider last nite- the sight we saw- a 160 pound middleweight- was content to go the distance with a 5'5" welter- even though pac didnt hurt him, or stun him- the thought of being hurt was enough for clottey to fight in fear the whole fight- and from the beginning.

Clottey was beaten before he even stepped in the ring last nite. its ridiculous that he couldve won the fight- but was intimidated enough to not engage with a much smaller guy. thats intimidation.

Its just a shame that now there are only 2 guys left for Pac to fight- and for us to enjoy the rest of his career. anybody else shits their pants before they enter the ring.

Pac has now arrived at Mayweathers level, where its entirely the oppositions fault for such one sided wins. Maybe he needs to move up to heavyweight.

I cant stand Floyd but youre right:lol: only thing though is that Pac intimidates opponents moreso than Floyd ever will.

I agree in a sense but I don't think this defeatist attitude is widespread, there are numerous fighters who appear to have the self belief that they could beat Pac.

I was a bit concerned when I saw Clottey's pre fight interviews and he seemed in awe of
Pac as if he was already resigned to defeat, I don't think it's the right mindset to approach the biggest fight of your life with.

Its funny Merchant was in a sport show in Toronto and he mentioned that Pac always had boring prefight promotions because hes so friendly but makes tremendous fights. As compared to Floyd who only provides excitement during pre fight hype lol..its so ****ing true though.

Paulie Malignaggi...I want to laugh but he's the top 10 guy I'd least pick to be Pac, so he must be Pac's Buster Douglas. He couldn't knockout a wino OD'ed on sleeping pills, but somehow his skill set and speed would make him seem right for that upsetter roll.

That is a big part of it. I was thinking the same thing last night, Pac adding the mystique to his arsenal is almost unbeatable, So as long as Pac doesn't go with Don King, or start dating Robin Givens, were set!

his douglas or tarver would be Mosley. Mosley would walk in the ring with no fear and is somebody that I think has the chin and power to upset Pac. Unfortunately, Mosley will lose to Mayweather. To me, Pac showed again that he can easily get hit... I'm still trying to figure out how people think a Pac/Mayweather fight would be close... I still think Mayweather wins convincingly. I think it will resemble the second Castillo fight... nothing more.

Clottey never had a chance in this fight.

Anybody who actualy thought this was going to be a real boxing match are ****ing nuts. This fight was fixed from the word go. They knew damn well Clottey would not pose a problem when they set this up.

Clottey is a glorified gate keeper. That is it. Clottey was also just there to collect a paycheck, that was pretty evident.

Grats to Pacquiao for beating a guy who could not win a title in his entire 15 year career at welterweight. What a stud he just beat.

Clottey wasn't scared at all. He was half steppin' all the way to the ring.

His whole MO was just to collect a paycheck and not get hurt.
