I've been a fan of his ever since that bogus bull**** DQ loss via Joe Cortez and while I do like him, I just feel that something is missing from his resume to get him in the hof. He's getting there but not yet

yup. i was thinking of this yesterday and he was alreadya 3 weight champ. but something is missing just when you compare him to barrera, morales and marquez. probably the big names that should be included in his name.

 

Beating Diaz and Chavez is not enough.

Actually, he is far from entering it with the way his career is going as of now.

 

He's a really good fighter. Good at creating distance.

 

Humberto is a good fighter but thats pretty much the weakest set of names you could get for a 3 division champ...the guys he beat for the title I mean.

Maybe only McKenzie or Montiel are worse.

 

no his last to two fights bore me and few years ago some poster says that he will beat Pacman.

 

Soto is a good fighter but he's clearly not a hall of famer. He would have to start getting busy beating some quality fighters quickly. His best wins are over Juarez and Diaz I believe. Thats not exactly a hall of fame career. But I am really looking foward to his upcoming fight with Anthony Peterson.
