I think he would have been knocked down.... pac only landed what, 20% of his punches because Clottey was blocking all night? I def think Pac would have cought Clottey with something he didnt see coming somewhere throughout and hurt clottey, then finished him in pac fashion. Clotteys got a good chin but even with his guard up at times you could tell the punches took their effect, let alone if he would have actually opened up and tried to do something during the fight for more then 3 seconds.

Remember, when imployed by strong fighters who use it naturally and have come up fighting that way, that shell defence absorbs a lot of punishment. Remember how Winkys guard soaked up Titos and Mosleys power? Clottey soaked up Margaritos and Cottos power when he had that guard up....

You could just hear Pacs impact on Clotteys guard, and while he didnt break through like a big guy with power might have, his punches had the venom to hurt clottey had he had more chances to do so, IMO

If Pac had caught and continued to catch Clottey I wouldn't have been suprised to see him on the deck. He never really landed flush to the head for me and that may have had to do with Clottey's defence and his inability / unwillingness to engage.

Never really predicted that Pac could KO this guy.. always knew this would go all the way to the 12th.

But a possible KD coulda happened if clottey opened up a little.

There was no right answer for me in your poll.. :think

Clottey did 20000 situps a day... that's all he did in training camp nothing more that's why he survived those body punches. LOL

What's disappointing is that I think Clottey knocking down Pacquiao was a more likely scenario than Clottey getting knocked down. And I'm a Pac fan.

Unfortunately, Clottey did not want to take the risk. He just didn't want to put himself out there because he knew that Pacquiao had faster hands and could possibly beat him to the punch.
