Fantastic news. Khan will be Britains greatest ever boxer when he is finished destroying his American opposition and giving the British public a better chance of seeing his epic career is a wonderful prospect for all. Khan is godly and hopefully ITV understand this.

We should but we won't :D

I think Khan can now probably afford to this now he's with HBO (thought he might not have been making much through Box Office anyway :think).

edit: Just remembered Ortiz-Campbell is on the undercard so we'll get that as well :happy

I thought he was on an 8 fight contract with Sky. This would be some thing if ITV pulled it off.

Isnt it a sad reflection of the poor coverage of our sport about how excited we are that we might get to see Khan on terrestrial not having to pay! This is completely unconfirmed and we are all running away with ourselves "OMG OMG what if goldenboy signed a contract with ITV!" lets just see hey either that or its back to watching World Bowls championships....

Doesn't matter. HBO only own the US rights. ESPN could buy the UK rights if they want.

Anyway, none of this matters until we get an official announcement!!

Indeed, remember the mass mutual masturbation session that went on here when people were convinced ESPN were showing loads of boxing in the UK last year?

All I've got from the dude that works for ITV on digital spy is that...

We'll see what happens in the next few weeks, but people are getting a tadge too excited when it isn't confirmed yet. Alba's gonna love this thread.:D

Right,Right media whores lets just look at the orig article.NO qoutes to verfiy the story ...nothing frm itv, nothing from GOlden boy or amir khans publicity loving dad.I would take this with a pinch of salt and it looks like ti could be a tactic to bring sky back to the table ...

You can stop that sort of talk right now!!!

As I read it that article virtually confirms that ITV will be showing all the big HBO/ Showtime fights live from the USA.
