I say either every thing is up for compromise or nothing should be up for compromise. If Pacquiao wants his special weight penalty and his 8oz gloves instead of 10oz gloves(which are the standard) then he should be willing to agree to random blood testing up until 48 hours before the fight, especially since one of his demands only affects Mayweather and not himself.

But If Pacquiao can't do the blood testing than everything else should be off the table, so no 8oz gloves, no weight penalty, no requesting a special referee or anything of the sort. It should be commission standards, that is it. As for the split, take a look at the numbers for each guys last 5 PPVs and do the math.

I think team Pac would be over the moon with that proposal and rightly so because they concede hardly anything while Mayweather compromises the one thing he was adamant about.

Whilst I agree that 10million per pound over 147 seems excessive, I really can't see a gym rat like Floyd needing to worry about this, so I suspect he kicks up a bit of a fuss about it, so it seems like he is making important concessions, when it should be a nothing concession for him to make.

2. Set the overweight penalty at 2M per lb. 10M is overboard. The penalty won't be neccesary, but 2M should be enough to ease Pacquiao's mind

3. Have the fight at the site that offers the largest site fee. This one seems easy. If it's Vegas, fight there. If Jerry Jones comes up with the most dough, have the fight at Jerry World.

4. 50/50 split. There's too much money to argue over a few percentage points.

5. Mayweather gets top billing. He's older, been fighting on the elite level longer and arguably should be getting the bigger purse split. In the end, this really doesn't matter but it seems important to both fighters.

6. Have all interpromotional undercard fights. No Top Rank vs. Top Rank fights or Golden Boy vs. Golden Boy fights. Let's see both sides put their guys to the test. On that same note, John Duddy shouldn't be allowed within 10 miles of the fight.

If they had me as the mediator, I would've laid this **** out and the fight would've been made by now.

BigReg great thread and great effort coming from you, you really are a true fan:good

I'm personally sick of all these talks of drug testing and all these politics. Fans should just join together in creating solutions to make the fight happen instead of criticizing each other, I for one think that pac isn't juicing or anything, and even if he does i don't see any problem that he could cause to floyd. All these **** has got to stop, because seriously at the end of the day we just want to let the fight happen!

Well thought out proposition. #2-6 are needed for #1. Now let's hope both camps' reps read this and relay it to them.

I hope this fight gets signed sooner so Pac doesn't have to go down to 140. He can do that later.
