I can't see any other Super fights on the horizon after Pacquaio v Mayweather/Mosley. There are undoubtedly big fights out there that can be made, Gamboa v Lopez, etc, but nothing close to the level of a Super fight.

Plenty of fights for the "real" fans...mainstream fans will have to wait a couple more years for a mega superfights like Mayweather vs. Pac IMO

Anyways, future superfights I would like to see are:

    Gamboa vs. Lopez

    Bradley vs. Alexander/Khan

    Cotto vs. Margarito II

mosley isnt a super fight ffs, not any shape or form.

super fights happen when two current champions are dominating their weight class in boxing, it happens when the whole WORLD knows this will be epic. the last true super fight happened like what 20-25 years ago. finally we will have another one in pac vs floyd but then it will be another minimum of 6-7 years before another one is made

2 boxers need to stamp their authority and get the world talking, not sure how long that will take after pac and floyd

Pac vs Mosley (if he wins).

Gamboa vs Lopez is a nice one indeed...

The Super Six final... Abraham vs TBA.

    ______________________________________________________________

Klitschko vs Haye is anything but a superfight... another easy battering.

I'd probably agree that Mosley v Pacquiao isn't a Super fight, but it is a mega fight. I'd have them currently joint #1 Welters in the world at the minute.
Your definition of Super fight is flawed. Floyd has been away from the sport for a couple of years until he fought a blown up Marquez, he isn't currently dominating the Welterweight division. You could argue if he beats Mosley, then he could claim to be the best Welterweight in the world, but thats not a certainty.

Sadly, it's probably 8 or 10 years before two guys get built up like Manny and Floyd in order to make a superfight.

Lots of potentially nice matchups and great fights for us hardcore fans though.

all it really takes for a super fight is two guys to come off big wins.

Mosley coming off a shocking upset of margo is a good one that has been diminished by the fact that he couldnt get a fight all year.

there arent any immediate super fights but there are some guys who can be interesting. For example if valero beats someone good at 140 in shocking fashion and then say Kahn shocks everyone and knocks out paulie M.. then you got a super fight. So between valero, kahn and bradley there is potential there.

Also potential with pavlik/martinez/williams. If pavlik knocks out martinez and williams has a great performance then that fight can be back on with great anticipation.

But these guys still arent big names to the general public. Wladimir david haye would be the best bet. Wladimir is on TMZ all the time now cause he is knocking that one actress Hayden P. David Haye has a big mouth and carisma so that fight could make noise outside of hardcore boxing fans if they promote it right and dont do that bull**** in germany.

my definition may be flawed but my point is correct

publicity, excitement and world wide fans play a crucial part. whatever we say about floyd, i despise the guy but his stock is higher than its EVER been.

of course floyd vs mosley and pac vs mosley would be a mega fight

but for super fights are something that come around very few often in years, its when some people are built up to be 2 special unbeatable warriors at the current time

you look at ali vs fraizer, now we have floyd vs pac. i think floyd vs pac could be in the top 5 fighters in the history of boxing

you have had people talking about it for one year and it still hasnt been made, the excite is unreal

yeah i guess it depends on your definition of super fight. If its one that gets insane ESPN coverage and the general public in america's attention then after Pac-Floyd there wont be another one for atleast 5 years.

Only thing I could see getting any press would be Wladimir vs Vitali simply because of the brother aspect of it. Man they could make a fortune if they marketed that the right way. Put out false claims that Wlad slept with Vitali's wife and it was brother vs brother revenge. The entire world would eat that **** up. It would be a bit of a circus though

exactly, let me tell you something also, boxing is practically dead in the uk. the pac and mayweather attention has been unreal. the stock of that super fight is growing. both boxers have had their fights screened in over 20 countries recently. when its gaining good publicity in dead boxing countries then you know its something special

mosley may have the talent but i dont know, he just never made it big as floyd or pac on a world wide stage. especially here in the uk, ask 100 men on the street and they will say mosley who?

but i would be willing to bet they would know pac and floyd

Yeah, couldn't agree more. This is the only Super fight on the horizon. These two are most likely the only mega stars in the sport now, but this bout has to happen by the end of the year, otherwise the hype will disappear.
