He said if the fight was a forgone conclusion, he'd have no interest. He then went on to outline why it isn't.

    Reading. It's good for you.

Boxers throw punches when they see openings. Floyd's fights are so 'boring' because he leaves very few openings providing the opponent an opportunity to strike. Pacquiao will get in the ring with Floyd and and realize that this guy is not easy to time or hit. He won't connect on punches with Floyd not because of a shell defense(like Clottey), but because he's not there to be hit. He may try the barrage to the body like he did on Clottey, but after getting hit with some hard straight right counters and left hooks, he will likely pick his spots more rather than throwing caution to the wind. Once the fight becomes a boxing match, Pacquiao has lost already. The ONLY way he can beat Floyd is by throwing 1000+ punches like he did tonight and just winning a decision on aggression, which he won't be able to do. Even if he has a measure of success in this strategy, Floyd can take a page out of Vernon Forrest vs. Mosley II, or Evander vs. Tyson I and II and control distance with the jab and straight right, and tie Pac up on the inside.

Marquez just happen to have Pac's number .. Just because pbf beat Marquez convincingly doesnt mean that he'll be able to do what Marquez gave to Pac.. A lot of factors went in on that fight.. Goes to say when Pac beat Oscar and Hatton way more convincingly than Mayweather did .. Doesnt mean he'll run over Mayweather..

I give a slight edge to Pac though it used to be on Floyd's before Pac fought cotto and clottey.

But it'll most likely be a 50/50 depending on how Mosley-PBF turns out.

I don't know why anyone would say that, they are two completely different fighters.

Clottey uses high guard for defense, Floyd uses everything for defense. That involves countering, head and body movement, brilliant footwork, philly shell, clinching, shoulder rolling, slipping and ducking... list goes on!

Is that you saying: I don't know what the **** I am talking about? He made excellent points, and you are acting like they don't matter.

That is because you're another Pacquiao dick sucker and it's pretty clear you don't have a ****ing clue about boxing.

Let me guess, you thought the fight with Clottey was going to be competitive right? Seriously, if you didn't know what you were going to see Saturday, you can just stop talking because you clearly don't know ****.

Keep sucking Manny's dick though, like the rest of these ***s. It's hilarious watching a bunch of grown men try to suck an athlete's dick.

I am not so sure anymore, Floyds style spells big trouble for him in this fight, he does lay on the ropes and looks to counter but the problem he will have is that Manny can match him if not beat him in speed, Manny can also punch and has a high work rate, so while Floyd waits to counter he risk getting caught when he attempts to counter, this was the problem Clottey had he just looked to catch Manny on the back end and it didnt work Manny has learned how to get his shots off and move the **** out of the way and go right back to work.
I am not so Sure Floyd can even keep up with Manny if they fight to be honest I think Pacquiao knocks out Mayweather.

floyd would have to fight move around and hit pacquiao continously make it a fight like when he fought gatti but he must maintain this pace for 12 rounds. I know pacquiao is faster than gatti but he's wild. And i believe mayweather can punish him, but im not so sure if he can keep up with Manny fight pace. Because if Floyd does the shoulder thing awaiting Manning to tire out he will get beat

I agree. Floyd too mobile and quick to be Pac's punching bag. Floyd will be Pac's rag doll.
