You have a point there, if Manny is to be in this fight his best chance is to pin Mayweather down and throw his onslaught of punches, but this will be hard due to Mayweather moving around the ring, I think Manny will struggle with this as he failed to pin Cotto down in the later rounds of there fight, he wasn't cutting the ring. if Manny is to be succsessful in this fight he will have to pin Mayweather on the ropes and make him fight, he is going to have a hard time outboxing Mayweather.

Work rate is great however, can it be effective workrate? Floyd is razor sharp on defense, and if Paq is missing with some shots. You can bet that PBF will be landing some sharp counters. If Pac starts getting drilled as he goes to lead, does that take him away from his aggressive punch away style? I def feel like his sheer volume and angles could be problematic for PBF. But, if PBF can beat him to the punch and make him pay for his aggression, it`s a long night for Paq...You can`t look at what he did to Clottey as any kind of barometer. Clottey is mired in quicksand compared to PBF. Also, Roach and Pac work great together, but you can not discount PBF`s ring genius and generalship. He can adapt, and make adjustments on the fly. And make supposed tough matches look like a sparring session. I can get a little frustrated watching him sometimes, because he eases up on the gas pedal and cruises to easy victories. I think though, that if he gets Paq where he wants him, it will be a different story... This fight just has to get made...

Floyd tends to fight aggressively against southpaws and that will be his downfall.
