Bull****, he was not being completely outboxed, Lindsay was prob a rd or 2 behind before the stoppage. And what your forgetting here is that Matthews was an excellent rangy boxer, but his chin didnt match his skill.

But to answer the question Arthur is more than a decent boxer and could give Lindsay more than a few problems before Martin gets to him, and stops him.

Agreed, I scored this a while back, with sound off, trying to be as impartial as possible and had Martin 2 rounds down prior to the ko

On paper, and by logic, Lindsay is the favourite and rightfully so. But Arthur is no pushover, and he seems to be rejuvenated - not just physically but mentally too - and that counts for a lot.
Also take into account in last week's Boxing News, in their interview with Lindsay it came across to me a little that Martin appeared to be looking past Arthur a bit, and we all know how dangerous that can be.
With Arthur as motivated as he is, and Lindsay possibly looking too far ahead, that could be a recipe for disaster for Team Lindsay.

I would go with Lindsay to win this, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Jamie pulled off the upset. Arthur is a better boxer than he is given credit for.

Do you know, at this stage if your next fight will be in Belfast?

Well I am only looking at the Jamie Arthur fight first. It would be stupid of me to look by that there, so once this fight is over I can plan for the future. At the minute I am just focusing on this fight next week

Boxers always give spiel one way or the other. I'm just saying in the Boxing News interview last week, without saying it directly, Lindsay kind of gave the impression he was looking past Arthur a little bit, that's all. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't.

Is Kieran Farrell boxing Kyle King on the undercard? It's not advertised on the poster but it's in the BN listings.

havent seem much of jamie arthur so ill just have to go on what i have seen of him.

arthur looks a very tall, active fighter.
lindsay is a very good counterpuncher but isnt particularly active...

...i dont know how arthurs chin is so ill just have to go for arthur on a close points win, just for being the more active fighter. :good

Very fair scoring...the KO was without doubt the scariest I have ever witnessed live, peachy as you like, I thought that Derry was on deaths door, especially the way that he caught the bottom rope.

Lindsay shouldn't have any bother getting past Arthur

This seems like sound logic to me. I wasn't going to even bother looking at any of the bookies odds but I might change my mind. Also is this no in Arthurs home town?
