    For me, that or when he climbed back to 147 to take a title from Cotto. I think the Cotto fight actually sealed it.

    Well he fought black Americans...I think Hawkins was more a puncher though.

    He fought some slicksters from various races however...Famechon, and Rose for instance. And other good technicians whilst maybe not slicksters in the strictest sense they were well schooled boxers.

    Poncho Villa is like the SSR of Asia. So its hard to say if MP is the BEST ASIAN FIGHTER.

    Jofre and Medal (one of the most underrated Mexicans ever)

    Also a couple of decent South American and Mexican contenders...and a few Filipinos for that matter.

    But Harada was extremely versatile..He was by trade a swarmer but he could box off the back foot and laterally very well. So not all fights was he using a uniform approach of just coming at his opponent with a lot of leather, he would box them also.
