Tarver was lost from the 8th to the 12th and late in the fight every time Hopkins pushed in and threw punches Tarver was also dead tired and had nothing to answer back with so yes he was also open to be TKO'd or stopped if Hopkins kept the punches coming nonstop but again he couldn't afford to do it.

I agree, I have seen a few times now where it looks like Tarver is ready to go. Not necessarily because he was hurt, but because he gasses so bad. I even felt like Roy had a couple chances to get him out of there in the 3rd fight, but just failed to let his hands go.

and in other breaking news the atari 2600 is due for release circa 1985! he was never a ko artist and it is in the last 6 years that he has fought way better competition!
