Which fighters when you first seen them compete did you think would not get very far because of reasons such as style, power, chin etc, but suprised you by having a very successful career?
Pacquiao has exceeded my expectations for him time and time again. Not only in terms of him beating guys I thought he'd lose to and dominating in fights I thought would be competitive, but I also didn't think with his style that he'd have that much longevity.
First time I saw Devon alexander was vs chop chop corley. I thought he was a good boxer that was it, but he's really come into his own in his last two fights. I can't wait to see him fight again.
Andre Ward: Never thought he would be ready for a guy like Kessler based on his previous fight experience but outclassed him and definitely exceeded my expectations.
I have followed Froch's career since he turned pro, first few fights i seen in him thought he looked really average, didnt think he would go anywhere but he proved me wrong...
Bernard Hopkins, I never would have thought after seeing the Hopkins-Jones fight that Hopkins would go on to have one of the most dominant title reigns in history and then to turn the hands of time back so many times to beat guys well into his 40s.
the way he fought and still fights to some degree would make me think he would not be around too long. watching him on the lewis tyson undercard made that night for me and me a fan of his but i figured it would be a short career based solely on his style.
