Overeem being a dick...

Yeah very overrated considering that he talk as if K1 is no real competition for him and is only a minor stepping stone. Dude is good but not godly as he think he is as well as some of his fans.

 

you should have seen his fights at light heavyweight ... dude would fight for 2min before gasisng out and then get the **** beat out of him

 

you do have to admit it's an effective way to make someone take leg kicks seriously...

 

It's really not a big deal, she just slipped.

She is in a thai gym, presumably has experience holding pads, it's not like she is just some girl off the street.

She probably wanted to hold it so she could say she held a pad for Overeem, he put a mild kick on and she lost her footing, she was fine.

She probably ran and told her friends. She hangs out in thai gyms, I doubt she will be scarred for life or anything.

What like Remy Bonjasky? Oh wait that was a close competitive fight where Overeem knocked Remy down (arguably) but lost a decision. Fluke win over Badr? Bollocks it was. Overeem conrolled that fight similar to the way Badr controlled the second. Badr is weak defensively and always vulnerable and Alistair took advantage of that. Simple really.

Having said that I don't think Overeem will be able to beat the top 3 HWs 9 times out of 10(Schilt, Bonjasky, Hari), but he is easily a top 10 HW kickboxer in the world and possible top 5 with wins over Hari, Aerts and Teixeira. That's not overrated in my book.
