Why the hate for Manny?

I think people 'hate' Manny's fans more than Manny himself.

 

Manny gets a whole a lot of love on this forum. Im not sure what you're talking about.

 

I don't root for him.


I don't root for the Cleveland Cavaliers either. Nor do I root for the New England Patriots. Be a fan. Nothing wrong with that. But you shouldn't be so befuddled because there are people who aren't fans.


Having said that, I don't hate him either. I just get annoyed by his fans who have a hissy fit if you criticize any aspect of him.

I liked him a lot at one point, but I lost a healthy chunk of respect for him when he or his camp:

a.) Blew out the biggest fight since the seventies over a drug test.
b.) Signed an in-house fight with Clottey so quickly that it was questionable.
c.) Started talking **** about facing Bradley or Valero instead of trying to cement his legacy.

He is a great fighter, but the last few months have shown that he's not above Mayweather-esque ***** moves, either.

Manny is the ****ing man BUT they are other fighters who are exciting also and he does have his flaws. Too many Manny bandwagons. I must admit I hate Floyd nut huggers more than I hate *******s tho. I think Floyd's fans are a bit delusional.

Spot on. Most Pacquiao "haters" are either *****s or they just hate the overwhelming number of *******s on here. I am a fan of him, but not to the extent that most *******s are. I am also a fan of Shane Mosley and Paul Williams, it doesn't mean I hate every other WW out there.

 

cause he's better than everyone thought. He made alot of people look like they don't know ****. For some people, that really pisses them off.

His never-ending pleas of ignorance rub me the wrong way as does the allegiance of his hard-core, non-boxing fans who believe that he shits rose peddles.
